While ‘HeartGold’ and ‘SoulSilver’ are just making it stateside, Nintendo has already announced a new title in the main series of games.
Nintendo gave no details regarding a release date or even a name for the title. Keep in mind that this is not a spinoff or a remake of any kind and will follow Pokemon Diamond and Pearl just like Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire did before it. The only details Nintendo hinted at is that the game will feature new pokemon, a new region and brand new gameplay concepts.
The game is scheduled for a release in Japan sometime in 2010 so we can expect an announcement in North America soon.
When I was younger Pokemon was a staple for me I saw all the Pokemon movies, collected all the toys from Burger King, played all the games on gameboy, and pretty much lived and breathed Pokemon. I admit I lost touch with my inner child and haven’t played a Pokemon game since but thinking bout it I really want to start playing them again I loved combing the game trying to find that elusive rare pokemon or battling it out trying to remember which pokemon to use against which one. Pikachu I miss you please forgive me I’m coming back for you.
