Finally the new title from Platinum Games was revealed last night on Game Trailers and by the look of things, it could really be something.

Vanquish is a title by Shinji Mikami, creator of the Resident Evil Series and honestly, it’s looking promising. As you can tell from the video, an attacked is leveled on America staged by aliens, and you (Master Chief?) must defend the nation. That’s all we know.
No word yet on whether it’s a multiplatform title (though it’s safe to assume it will be), or an exclusive but I can say this, I’m looking forward to it.

Wow this looks pretty cool. Cool sci-fi background story to the game and it does look a little Halo like not much but his suit has a tiny resemblence to Halo. And how can you go wrong with the great Shinji Mikami working on it his Resident Evil franchise was a staple of my gaming history and I’m sure he’ll do this game justice. Can’t wait to hear more on this hope it goes multi-platform too.
