It’s no doubt that this “Project Needlemouse” is Sega’s most top-secret project but it’s so mysterious that even the creator’s of the game’s first teaser trailer don’t even know what it is. They were given only the tiniest bits of information regarding Sonic’s return to 2D and Integrated Alchemy Media had to get fans pumped without even knowing what they were pumping us for.
“SEGA came to Integrated Alchemy Media without a game, without a title, without a logo, without a character, and with a challenge: Make fans of Sonic the Hedgehog excited about his return in the game you’re not going to show. We had one week. But we also had Trevor Gavin, Ryan Berkey and Vadan Less This 30 second teaser got 100,000 views in its first 48 hours and the mission was a total success.”

Man i really hope they make a new good sonic game. There hasn’t been a good one since sonic adventure.
Yeah, Sonic needs a rebirth.
Kids this generation only know him from the terrible 3D games so I kind of think maybe they should just retire Sonic because it wouldn’t really make a difference to this generation of gamers, it would only impact the older gamers.
you know i never thought of it that way, your right, kids probably wouldn’t even care, but sonic has always been big for sega, thats what you think of when you think about sega, or at least i do. ok. so lets say they get rid of sonic. What do they replace him with? It still would be nice to have one last real sonic game though.
You are right about Sonic having one last game and I believe this one should be it so hopefully it’s done right.
