Fans Concerned About Dragon Age II Steam Disappearance, EA Responds

EA recently pulled Dragon Age II off of venerable PC service Steam and immediately made it available on its own offering dubbed Origin. Concerned fans have been searching for answers, and EA’s responded, casting the blame solely on Valve.

Although Dragon Age II isn’t out, Bioware’s already placed DLC for the game on PSN and XBL, content you won’t be able to play until the game comes available later this month.

Yet there’s a new trailer detailing The Exiled Prince Sebastian Vael, an extra companion for Hawke and his gang, a character who comes with a lot of drama in his back story.

Don’t Be Afraid Of RPGs

I’ve been a huge fan of RPGs, with my very first entry being Final Fantasy VII. But maybe you never got into the genre. Maybe, although you never tried it, just thought it wouldn’t be your kind of game. I reckon you should give the space a chance because there’s nothing to be “afraid of”.

At least that’s what Bioware says, adding that there are more people who are ready to play RPGs than realize it.

Bioware has said that the Dragon Age franchise has surpassed Mass Effect in popularity becoming it’s most recognizable title. So of course there was going to be a sequel. It’ll be on store shelves next year, but if you think the developer isn’t taking its time with this new installment, the video past the break will convince you otherwise.
