UK Charts: FIFA Still At Number 1, Call of Duty: Ghosts Number 2

We’ve started yet another gaming week with no news, but you shouldn’t worry, things should pick up soon. The UK Charts are live though, and in them you’ll find a par-for-the-course situation: FIFA 14 #1, Call of Duty: Ghosts #2, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag #3, Battlefield 4 #4 and Grand Theft Auto V in fifth place.

And it seems like this trend will continue until veritable games launch in the months of February and March, I’m talking about inFamous: Second Son and Titanfall, respectively for PS4 and Xbox One.

so this not only shows that FIFA 14 was the most sought after game people wanted for Christmas, but also the most wanted game by people who had Christmas money to spend!
Perhaps people are finally getting bored of the FPS with little change and very buggy games?!

It shows that FIFA is indeed a strong franchise, and it’s position on the charts is also a representation of Europe’s favorite sport: Football. So it’s a mixture of both, I suppose.

On the FPS getting stale note, I must say that Battlefield 4 has disappointed me and I’m already bored with Call of Duty: Ghosts — although I though the latter game’s single-player was way better than that of BF4.

But yeah, BF3 is better than BF4 in many ways… Happy New Year, Foxton!!!

Happy New year to You Too Ernice! Yeah im bored of KZSF already and although ive slowly got into BF4 it hasnt grabbed me as much as i thought it would of done, and yeah i dont think its as good as BF3.
FIFA 14, is a truly epic game, yeah it comes out each year but it actually is an unbelievable effort from EA, and not just a cheap port from ps3. ANd yeah it does go to show that Nothing comes close to football here in the UK!!

Isn’t it a shame though? How Battlefield has fallen. I mean once they were able to sort BF3, it was freaking EPIC. BF4, not so much.

yeah i know, it crashed on me again last night about 5 times! its as if they’ve just washed their hands with it and kinda given up to the fact that it will always be buggy as hell. It still has flashes of brilliance though.

Yeah, it does. But what a shame. I’ll rent BF3 to play on my PS4 once PlayStation Now becomes a thing
