UK Charts: Gran Turismo 6 Fails Hard, Call of Duty: Ghosts On Top Again

Gran Turismo 6 should have been a PS4 title, in my opinion.

But it wasn’t. The game as released on PS3 at the same time gamers have been saving to getting a PS4 system, or trying to buy PS4 games. Bad move by Sony and it’s now being reflected in the UK game sales chart, only coming in at number 8 on the charts and managing only a fifth of GT5 sales.

In first place was Call of Duty: Ghosts, second FIFA 14, third Battlefield 4 and fourth Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

Last-gen title Grand Theft Auto V charted above Lego Marvel Superheroes and Just Dance 2014.

Also, Super Mario 3D World is still being stampeded by Knack.

On next-gen, PS4 titles dropped in their second week, with Killzone: Shadow Fall falling five places to No.9 and Knack slipping five spots to No.18.

On Xbox One, Forza 5 is at No.26, Dead Rising 3 takes 29th and Ryse is at No.34.

you might want to change the heading of the article, it says gt5!
i always said it should of been a ps4 title, in fact it should of been, and clearly could of been given the release date a day one release. Gran Turismo is one of the biggest sony exclusives so if they sold it as a day one bundle with ps4 they could of even further cemented their grip on the Next gen console war!

Hum.. I don’t think it is fixed, actually. The title still says GT5, Oh well, it’s not that bad

I feel like GT6 did not get enough attention either. Was there any GT6 hype? If there was, I didn’t hear it.. :S

There was no GT6 hype to be honest. But again, it should have been a PS4 title. No last-gen games will be getting any kind of hype now that PS4 and Xbox One are on the market.

how has it sold in N. America?! similar figures?
im hoping that the juggernaut that is FIFA 14 will be top spot in the U.K. next week, just picked this up for ps4 and all i can say is wow!
the difference between ps3 and ps4 is insane! and here’s me thinking it would just be a crappy port!
