Games Thirst – Amazing Life
One of the first games to be patched after the service’s closure.
The PC and Steam versions of BioShock 2 have been patched today to reflect the changes. As it’s obvious, it won’t require Games for Windows Live to work anymore.
But the Steam version got better treatment. Controller compatibility, Steam achievements and Big Picture Mode were all patched in. In addition to that, instead of searching for a specific game mode in multiplayer, you can search for “any game”. Levelling up is also now quicker and easier.
Digital Extremes, the people behind Warframe and The Darkness II, worked on BioShock 2′s multiplayer, and they’re the same ones that took care of this patch for the 2010 game.
