It failed to topple FIFA 13′s record-breaking launch, however.
Grand Theft Auto V’s sales fell by 83 percent week on week, yet the game continues to sell well. But FIFA 14, although coming in at Number 1, couldn’t topple FIFA 13′s massive launch week, with sales down 23 percent year-on-year.
The fall in sales of FIFA 14 is likely the doing of GTA V’s continued popularity, and the game being available on next-gen consoles in November, the month PS4 and Xbox One will launch.
Elsewhere on the chart, Minecraft jumps to third place, PES 14 falls to fourth, and The Last of Us sits at 5th.
