On the flipside, Sony’s never charged PSN users to watch Netflix or Hulu and other such apps, and the firm has given hints that, since free-to-play games will be accessible to PSN users not subscribed to PS Plus, the Share feature will be accessible to them, too.
Gamers wishing to play games online on PS4 will have to sign up to PS Plus, however, a service that gives about 40 free games a year, deep discounts – and other goodies – along with the added luxury of online gaming.
