Fez II cancelled, Phil Fish announced

Fez II cancelled, Phil Fish announced

The news comes from Fish’s personal Twitter account, where hewrote: “im done. FEZ II is canceled. goodbye.”

Polytron, the company he co-founded in 2008, followed up with a formal tweet, saying:

Though why the game was cancelled overnight is unclear, a heated debate on Phil Fish’s Twitter account may be the reason. In a brand new blog post by Fish, he says the decision can not be attributed to a single reason and was due more to a cumulative effect: “FEZ II is cancelled. i am done. i take the money and i run. this is as much as i can stomach. this is isn’t the result of any one thing, but the end of a long, bloody campaign. you win.”

To remind you, Fish is not the kindest, or the most calm, person on the planet.

What are your thoughts? Fez II was only announced a month ago at E3, and now it just got cancelled.
