Microsoft Gains Control Of XboxOne.com

Microsoft Gains Control Of XboxOne.com

After filing a complaint with the National Arbitration Forum (NAF) back in late May, Microsoft lawyers have finally gained control of XboxOne.com and XboxOne.net.

Both domains just changed registrants to Microsoft, c/o The Richard Law Group, a law firm that often represents Microsoft in domain disputes. Last year, the firm helped secure XboxPhone.com and XboxTablet.com. Those names are among a long list of names recovered at NAF by Microsoft.

Sony on the other hand doesn’t own PlayStation4.com, that domain redirects to PlayStation site PSXextreme.com, however Sony hasn’t filed any such complaints.

At the moment nothing is up on XboxOne.com, but don’t expect that to last too long, as Microsoft will surely put its content up on there before we can blink.
