PS4 $399 Price Tag Surprised Hideo Kojima

Hideo Kojima is rather surprised that PS4′s price is $399, stating that it was “cheaper than I thought”.

That’s what he said in an interview with Japanese site Game Watch, adding that the power difference between PS4 and Xbox One is “small”.

The PS4 is cheaper than I thought.

The difference is small, and I don’t really need to worry about it. When you come right down to it, the PS4 is cheap (laughs). Though, I wonder about the inclusion of the camera…

When asked about PSEye and Kinect’s importance to the future of gaming, he said:
