Tomb Raider Movie Reboot Incoming, Based On New Game

Crystal Dynamics is said to be working closely with GK Films to develop the rebooted action title based on the latest game.

“They are working from this new take that we’ve given them,” Darrell Gallagher, boss of Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics said of GK Films. “It’s a good partnership. We’re seeing the challenges through the same lens.”

“It was important for both of us to have a cohesive version of the franchise,” Gallagher said. “We didn’t want to see a film version that was a continuation of the old Tomb Raider films.”

funny how he says he does not want the movie to be the same as the old ones, especially when thats EXACTLY how the game has turned out!
so disappointed, i was really excited with the reboot expecting such a delicate fragile lara, you get that for about the first 20 minutes of the game, then its as if im playing tomb raider underworld!
