so sad that opperation city is up at # 4!
just goes to prove you can release any old shit as long as it has a famous franchises name on it it will sell well!

it might be alone on this but why play sports games i honestly don’t see the point. the only real changes i see in sports games are roster updates tbh. i’d rather just watch or play sports and save money at the same time

You could say the same about why play FPS, how long can you spend shooting someone?
I watch and play sport and then in my spare time i play gaming sports too! there is nothing better than getting a few mates, few beers n setting up a FIFA tournament. It is by far the most enjoyable way to game. Yeah from the outiside there may not be much difference from one FIFA to the Other but there are subltle tweaks and improvements. The new defensive controls in FIFA 12 have made the game much more competitve and enjoyable.I think the same about COD i havent really seen any change in it yet it still dwarfs every other game. Having said that FIFA has more lasting power, not left the top 10 since its release in October and i doubt it will untill FIFA 13 this October!!

difference between FPS and sports games is the fact that FPS games in a series are not released every year with exception of COD. fact of the matter is i hardly ever play any FPS games outside a couple and i don’t play COD. buying COD or sports games is like throwing money into a well.

your entitled to your opinion but COD and FIFA are the biggest games franchises so it would appear your in a minority. I cant stand COD but love FIFA, each to there own and that

i know im in the minority i stated that in my other comment but in different words. im not saying not to enjoy those games im just stating my opinion thats all.

yeah i understand that, I see where your comming from. I dont see any difference between one tiger woods to the next or if i played american sports i wouldnt see any difference between an NBA or a madden (is it still called madden? lol)
but like the majority of English people im football mad and you cant beat a bit of FIFA between friends :)
