Microsoft Let Slip “Next Generation Xbox”, Forza 5 Is Launch Title

Microsoft Let Slip “Next Generation Xbox”, Forza 5 Is Launch Title

The rumors around Microsoft’s next Xbox have been mostly coming from outward sources, however for the first time Microsoft itself has made mention of the “next generation Xbox”.

Adding to the validity of Microsoft’s own slip up, a job listing from Forza developer Turn Ten mentions its now working on next generation games, and since Forza has always been an Xbox launch title, we won’t be surprised if Forza 5 is now under development for Durango the next Xbox.

The job listing has been pulled, but Superannuation managed a cache before it was taken down.

Again, I believe the next generation is closer than we think.

I think they will jump the gun and put out a rushed system which will probably backfire on them. This console war is a marathon and I dont think Microsoft understands this.

Wow I bet thats going to hurt sales for day one buyers at least. I mean PlayStation 4 has uncharted to launch with and good devs for it too. The next Xbox is getting a dime a dozen racing game to launch with pssh!
