But that doesn’t mean it’ll release anytime soon, because according to Rockstar, it’s all about timing.
“We’re all very pleased with how that game turned out and are considering what the future may hold for L.A. Noire as a series,” reads a message from Rockstar. “We don’t always rush to make sequels, but that does not mean we won’t get to them eventually–see Max and Red Dead for evidence of that. We have so many games we want to make and the issue is always one of bandwidth and timing.”
Rockstar gave the intelligent response in a question and answer session it held recently, where the firm took questions about Max Payne 3, GTAV and more. Take-Two, Rockstar’s parent company recently announced that L.A. Noire had sold over 5 million copies.
