Brand New Xbox 360 Exclusive Announced

Deadlight, the first game from Tequila Works will be available exclusively on Xbox Live Arcade by summer 2012.

The developer signed a deal with Microsoft making the 360 the only platform on which Deadlight can be played.

According to the developer, Deadlight is a puzzle platformer set in an apocalyptic world where there is no motive and reason to exist. The game sees you trying to survive while crossing the American west coast.

“Being published by Microsoft Studios, one of the world’s largest publishers, is a true reward for all the team hard work,” said Raúl Rubio, CEO and creative director at Tequila Works. “The opportunity to work with first-party publisher Microsoft Studios is a dream come true, and shows their commitment in the talent of small independent studios.”

As for Tequila Works, the studio was founded back in September 2009 and includes developers who’ve worked on titles such as Commandos and Motorstorm series, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Diablo III, Heavy Rain, and Overlord II.
