Google Searching for Games Boss

Google should be renamed “Goobiquitous”, as the search giant has engaged almost every segment of society. From phones, to operating systems and much more, now the firm’s taking a closer look at gaming, and is on a search for someone to head “Games at Google”.

According to the ad: “We are looking for a strategic, technical and game-loving Product Manager to drive Google’s gaming strategy.

You will design strategies for game distribution and discovery, player identity, game mechanics, and more. In addition to designing a great user experience and building out key partnerships, you will be significantly influencing Google’s social platform as you work directly with a critical set of early adopters, game developers.

Interesting and impactful decisions involving social gaming, privacy, virality, business, and technical APIs await you and the strong, passionate team of gamers you will work with.”

The full quencher’s through here.

Thanks, EG, via VG247.

sounds like there trying to setup a games marketplace something to replace the android store perhaps.
doubt they will be going for the big market, too competitive.
steams got the advantage because almost everyone supports it.
EA got origin because they have so many games.
i cant see google running with them, and surviving.
