Millions upon millions of Resident Evil fans loathed the path Capcom took with Resident Evil 5, and speaking to Rely On Horror, the firm’s said it’s aware of the complaints, and will bring the franchise back to its roots.
“We know that alot of fans want more horror back for the next one, the development team knows that as well and we read a lot of comments, messageboards, and ask for feedback, and there was a lot of critisism about RE5′s focus on action,” a Capcom representative told the site at E3.
“I think that you’ll like the direction the dev team is shifting for the next one.”
Keep you fingers crossed then, and keep the complaints coming as it seems they’re listening.
