In the midst of the PSN meltdown, gamers on the other side are starting to question Xbox Live’s security, especially since the “phishing” story broke yesterday. To them, Microsoft’s response was swift: Xbox Live’s security is our “highest priority”, said the firm.
That’s what a rep told Eurogamer today, although they wouldn’t comment further on the PSN breach.
“The security around our Xbox Live service and member information is our highest priority.”
Yesterday concerns arose when MS warned Xbox Live members who were playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to be aware of “phishing” scams.

ahhhh gee dig the screwdriver in……..
You’re something else dude. And you call yourself a gamer. You’re having with Sony’s hardship….shame.
they leaked my personal and account details, WTF am i suppose to do?
send them flowers?
hmm, its kinda obvious most of GT is REALLY REALLY pro-PS3… I mean, most of you are always quick to flame the 360 for the smallest of reasons but always manage to show sympathy for sony everytime they screw up…
well, clearly the PS3 is the better console and sony HAVE been more humble / honest than MS (regarding console breakdowns atleast) so they indeed deserve more respect… But you know, try to be a bit more fair..
Dont get me wrong, sony deserves every bit of sympathy, but all im saying is, show it for the 360 every now and then too you know..
I agree with you TRH, the bigger portion of GT are PS3 owners and lovers, but everyone must share their opinion freely like you did yours. We will, in the future, look for a dedicated Xbox 360 editor to bring all things Xbox. That way everyone will be satisfied.
