Wow! Two-Player Split-Screen Co-Op In Uncharted 3?!

by Ernice Gilbert on December 14th, 2010, under Hot, Naughty Dog, News, Sony

If this is true…. Oh please Lord let it be true!

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception’s the hottest game now, and that’s a full year before its even released. Many details have been divulged, like location, basic story plot and what not. But will the game feature what fans would definitely welcome, two-player split-screen co-op? Apparently so, according to GameStop. And mind you, GameStop’s normally on target concerning these things.

Go there to see for yourself:

Game Details

Co-op ModeYes

Number of Online Players1-3 Online Co-op, 1-12 Online Multiplayer

Number of Players1-2 Players

Online/Multiplayer Yes

If true, it’s most likely Sully who’ll be the next playable character, and it makes sense, as Naughty Dog’s said he’ll be Drake’s mentor throughout the game, tagging along for the entire adventure.

Naughty Dog also said “we want to take on the big boys of the multiplayer genre” with Uncharted 3, so this might as well be true.

Thanks, GSN.

I refuse to share my screen with anyone with this game. It looks too good to splitscreen : ) Definitely over LAN though : )
