The legendary creator of the Dead Rising and Mega Man franchises, Keiji Inafune, has just announced via his personal blog that he’s to resign his position at Capcom effective later this month.
It’s not a matter of not liking the company, though, as Inafune spoke highly of Capcom, even saying he’s “in love” with it, “probably more than anyone else.”
He made his entrance some 23 years ago as a character designer and worked his way to the top and according to him, achieved the highest position possible in the company as head of Research & Development and Online Business and Global Head of Production.
He left because there’s no further position to achieve.
We wish him good luck in whatever he choses to do moving forward.
Thanks SFX.

sad to see him go, the era of Japanese game developers has sadly passed and there starting to crumble!

Yeah, hopefully a new breed comes along.
i just wish developers would stop trying to turn there games into something there not!
Neir is the best next gen RPG i have played, was so similar to old true $E RPGs, was nice to actually play a proper RPG for a change.
