When Crysis 2 comes out, the game will receive perfect 10s and anything less will be in the 90s.
This according to EA.
Speaking to Eurogamer, the publisher voiced its opinion through EA Partners boss David DeMartini.
“It’s going to be another 90 rated game from Crytek, he told the site. “It’s multiplatform for the first time. They just showed a glimpse of the multiplayer. There’s a lot of information that will be forthcoming with regards to the depth, the number of multiplayer modes and the maps.
I can say there’s an entire team [Crytek UK] that’s working on multiplayer alone for that game in England, so you can imagine how strong it will be.”
The game will come available on Tuesday March 22 2011.

Yeah, for some reason, I’m thinking it’ll be a must buy for me. I guess I really want to see what the hype is all about
I am kind of excited about it, but at the same time I am not. I played crysis and after you got past the visuals the gameplay became a little repetitive. I am not saying it was a bad game, but they could have done a little more with the gameplay. I am excited to see what they have done, but it is releasing around the same time as Killzone 2, Gears of War 3 and Bulletstorm, which is one of my most anticipated games of next year. Also, there are other games such as Dead Space 2 and Portal 2 which are high on my list. So I am interested in what they are doing with the game, but there are so many more games that I am more excited about. I will at least rent it to try it out.
What I’ve realised, RedBullGT33, is when I go out and rent a game, I usually end up beating it then forget about purchasing. So if you rent Crysis 2, you might just beat the thing and call it judge. You’re right: so many great titles coming early next year.
I have gamefly, so if I decided I really like it I usually just buy it from them and they send me the box and everything for it. I just wish it coming this Christmas because I would buy it then. There are not really any shooters that I want that have multiplayer coming out this fall. I am not a big Call of Duty fan, but I might still get it. I also was not a huge fan of the Medal of Honor beta, but I might still get it as well. I will see when the time comes. I will be getting halo: reach though.
Halo: Reach should be a must buy for all fans of the franchise, and even newcomers as well. I do believe Bungie when they say it’ll be their biggest Halo title yet.
Yeah I am sure it will be their biggest game ever. The only thing that I am weary about is the multiplayer. I know Bungie has an amazing track record for having a well balanced multiplayer, but I had a lot of problems with the beta. I am sure they will fix them though. I am super excited about the single player because I read The Fall of Reach book and it was good. I just don’t like the fact that I already know how the game will end. I also heard that they are adding a single player co-op search system, and that makes me happy since all of my friends on xbox are die hard Gears fans and really do not play anything else, so I need people to play the single player with.
True, developers should really get back into the habit of making single player co-op standard. It was proper on Resistance: Fall of Man and CoD: World at War.
