Splinter Cell: Conviction Delayed For More “Polish”

The news broke yesterday and the reactions from gamers were not too friendly to put it politely. Once again Ubisoft has delayed the release of Splinter Cell: Conviction, but this time the reason is not because the market is crowded or because its coming to PS3 (see what I did there?) But because the game needs polish.

“The game looks brilliant but we want it to look awesome,” a spokesperson for Ubisoft told eurogamer.

The move was made overnight and left everyone guessing, and this explanation from the company’s spokesperson is also shallow but whatever.

Splinter Cell: Conviction was due out on February 26th but now it’s gazing in the dark alleys of FY2010.
