shame the way the game turned out!
i knew it would stink ever since it was announced, just looked to lack ambition.
oh well, hopefully will see some new IP shooters announced at E3!
otherwise if $ony thinks they had a bad year last year there in for one hell of a rude shock this year!

Yeah, reviewers said it could have been much, much better.

I bought it and have been playing it. Not as bad as the reviews make it out to be. It isnt a 10 by any stretch of the mind, but 2 and 3 are very harsh. I would give it an 8. For the first outing on Vita, its a solid shooter. Visuals arent as good as Golden Abyss, but controls are tight and responsive. This is a pretty good addition to the Resistance storyline. Reviews are ripping it for not being as good as the console versions…well its NOT made by Insomniac so I didnt expect the same experiences. Plus Vita is new hardware, so didnt expect the same polish as R3. Reminds me a lot of the 1st Resistance…a little raw and rough around the edges, but a good toe in the water. Like is said earlier…2 and 3 are not accurate in my opinion. 7.5-8 is more accurate.

Benzo! Where have you been? Happy to hear that you’re enjoying it, man. I thought the same thing as well. Reviewers are making this out to be a PS3 game when it’s a handheld title.

    I hope it finds success.

there not ripping it for not being like the console versions, there ripping it for constant bugs, boring repetitive gameplay, boring easy bosses, imprecise controls, and a boring uninspiring thin as waffles storyline.
especially the bosses, i mean come on this is resistance the bosses are its centrepiece!

Reviews have directly mentioned the console versions of Resistance in their reviews. Havent encountered a bug yet in the SP and the controls are very responsive and tight. But silly me, I seem to be playing the game instead of relying on reviews. Most people who have played the game have had good things to say about it. Seems the only people really fussing about it are reviewers.

I believe that as the first game to be a FPS on the Vita, it should be given a rest. I think that the developers did a great job on it because it, like I said, is the first FPS, so developers just started to get used to the System Software. I think that the game is awesome, I tried it on my buddy’s Vita and the SP and MP are great. It should have gotten 7-8, but people today are game-hungry and very ignorant. Even I at a young age understand that developers need time to get used to the Vita, while people out there think every game should be perfect.

i can see why they were comparing it to the console versions.
    the audio design is terrible!
ALL the weapons for instance sound the same!
how can a bullseye sound the same as a auger, the same as a carbine, the same as a marksman, ect, ect?
ive only played it for a hour and twice ive clipped into objects and have had to reset the game, constant frame rate dips, frantic screen tearing, and AI issues.
for instance every time a enemy drops down at you there always facing the wrong way and when they fire there bullets magically hit you.
right, so your not even pointing the gun at me yet the bullets hit me?
    what the?
im sorry guys but if anything the reviews are being generous!
game feels like it was made by a bunch of high school students for a term project!
