The Witcher developer CD Projekt will unveil its new role-playing game tomorrow during a press conference, the company has told Eurogamer.
The reveal comes as speculation arose concerning CD Projekt’s much talked about announcement tomorrow. Apparently, many had thought that the original Witcher game coming to consoles would be the firm’s big reveal. It’s apparently not.
“We are gearing up for our upcoming conference and we have encountered some speculations concerning what we will be announcing.
Here’s CD Projekt’s head of marketing Michał Platkow-Gilewski:
We would like to share some light about what will happen tomorrow. In regard to the Witcher, we are planning some surprises for the second half of the year and for the next year, but during the conference we will sum-up The Witcher and Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition also, we will give a bunch of new information. To make it really clear – we will not be announcing Witcher 1 for consoles.
The major announcement on the conference tomorrow is related to the gun icon on cdpred.com career page. We will give you the first bit of information about our second AAA RPG in development. Will have to see what they announce tomorrow. really enjoyed the first Witcher so could be interesting. Also excited about Witcher 1 coming to Ps3 so i can play it again
