Surprise E3 game under the spotlight.
When The Order: 1886 was revealed at this year’s E3, gamers were ecstatic. Set in the 19th century, involving paranormal creatures, their hunters that are armed to the teeth with impressive weapons, and a dose of history to balance it out. What’s more impressive for this PlayStation 4 exclusive is that it’s coming from Ready At Dawn, a studio famous for their critically-acclaimed PSP games like Daxter and a couple of entries in the God of War series. Luckily, Game Informer will cover the game in its November issue, so we’re lucky to have a new glimpse into it.
As stated, it’s set in the 19th century, but it’s an alternate version of reality that is based both on mythology and real history, mixing both real and fictional characters to create a blend no one foresaw. The half-breed creatures that plague cities like London will be taken care off by an ancient order, sworn to protect humanity. Action-packed shooting powered by unconventional, weird weapons and a fascinating universe realized through a wonderful-looking engine are sure to catch our attention.
We will post more information as it is released, so bear with us!
