Weapon customization and tiered reloading will be another big part of Battlefield 4′s arsenal of features. Lead core game designer Alan Kertz, speaking to FTW’s Matt Cuttle, showed off some new customization options, from grips and barrels to paintjobs (even an adaptive camouflage that adapts to the environment of the map).
Tiered reloading is a new mechanic, which, in simple terms, lets you continue your reload where you left it off if you interrupted it halfway through. It is showcased in the video below.
Battlefield 4′s beta starts on October 1st for early access players (MOH: Warfighter owners and Digital pre-orders), and October 4th for everyone else.
