Bound by Flame coming to Playstation 4

Spiders Studios’ next RPG also coming to Sony’s next-gen console.

Bound by Flame, the latest RPG by Spiders Studios, was revealed at Gamescom, releasing on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in early 2014. However, the Playstation 4 is now added to the list of platforms it’s coming out on.

The impressive, if not weird, RPG takes you to a world of fairytales; twisted fairytales. You control a mercenary possessed by a flame demon, who offers its powers in exchange for your humanity. You can either develop the demonic powers, or heroic talents. The demon will constantly invite you to give up a chunk of your soul, with battles serving as temptations for more power. Moreover, choices effect gameplay and the story, adding replay value to the mix.

Battles happen in real-time, and look impressive. Three skill trees will let you advance your character in interesting ways, a character you create yourself and that also impacts how the demon looks. Throw in a crafting system for equipment creation and improvement, companions, and a creepy bestiary, and you have yourself an interesting RPG, right there.
