“Sources related to development of the new Xbox have confirmed to IBTimes UK that the console, which is scheduled to be launched on 21 May, will be called Infinity.” Speculation, that is all we’ve been doing for the past year or so, trying to speculate on what the next generation Xbox would be called.
IBTime sources say that indeed this could be the name of the next Xbox and that Developer kits are already in the hands of developers. “…sources have now revealed the console will be named Infinity and that development kits are already in the hands of studios…” IBTimes sources told them.
No official word from Microsoft has been released yet. The official announcemnt of the new Xbox is expect to happen on the 21st of May.
