Let it be clear, when Sony decides to turn on the PlayStation 4 hype train, it will be in a big way.
That’s what Sony worldwide boss Kaz Hirai said at CES when responding to fans who wanted to know the status of the hotly anticipated console.
We’re very happy with the way that the PlayStation 3 has grown over the years. Obviously a lot of interaction with the PlayStation Vita as well,” Hirai stated. ”All of the gaming fans out there, you probably know that we don’t talk about future generation technologies until we’re ready to launch it in a big way.
It can’t be too long before the engine is turned on, though, as we believe the console will hit store shelves by October. Let’s give The Last Of Us its chance to sell a few million units, and after that, let it rip!
