OverStrike Didn’t Appear At E3 2012, GamesCom Showing Is In Order

EA said it showed nothing from Insomniac Games’ OverStrike at this year’s E3 because it didn’t want the game to get lost in the crowd, and that it was taking more time to make sure there was something proper to show. Next stop, GamesCom 2012? We hope so.

“We’re very excited about Overstrike”, Gibeau said when asked by CVG why Insomniac’s upcoming FPS missed E3.

“It’s a new IP and we want to make it the right game, so they’re taking some extra time to nail the gameplay and the quality.

It felt like we would stand out better later in the summer once we’ve hit some key milestones and we’re able to show off more,” he added.

Ever since it was announced at E3 2011, OverStrike has taken the dark road going straight into hiding.

Here’s the trailer released at last year’s E3:

doubt they will be showing it at gamescom.
insomniacs going to be too busy detailing the new R&C game.
another game that should of been at $onys presser but they were too preoccupied measuring their cocks and putting everyone to sleep with wonderbook!
