Batman: Arkham City director director Sefton Hill has said concerning Rocksteady’s next project that “if you could press CTRL+ALT+DEL in my brain, it would be 90% Batman at any given time. It sort of means that I can’t function in any other social capacity other than to talk about Batman.”
That’s what he told VG247 at the BAFTAs, where Arkham City won the Best Action Game award. Hill said there are lots of exciting ideas floating around the studio since the completion of the bestseller.
“It’s kind of interesting. When you come to the end, you feel like you’ve put everything in; it’s really convergent, the end of the game. And then when you start a new game it’s diverging, and everything becomes possible again.
Immediately we sat down and thought right, what do we do next? And there were so many exciting ideas on the table.”
Although the firm’s not yet ready to confirm what exactly they’re working, Hill gave a pretty clear hint that Batman is involved.
I personally would love to see them take on Spiderman or some other superhero, however sticking with what you know is just fine by me.
