PlayStation Games Win Big At BAFTA Awards

Sony Computer Entertainment swept the floor at the BAFTA Video Games Awards, walking away with 8 awards for PS3 and PS Vita titles The Last of Us and Tearaway.

Of the Sony games, Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us won the most, garnering 5 out of the 8, including Best Story, Best Action/Adventure, Audio Achievement and the prestigious Best Game, with voice actor Ashley Johnson awarded a BAFTA for her role as Ellie.

The other three went to PS Vita darling Tearaway for Best Family, Best Mobile & Handheld and Artistic Achievement.

Elsewhere Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V won Best Multiplayer, Best Game Design and Best British Game.
