To Run Epic Games’ Samaritan, You’ll Need The Power Of Ten Xbox 360s

Epic Games wants to see meaningful change when it comes to the next generation of consoles, and not just a mild upgrade PCs can overrun in one year. So to stand by its stance, Unreal Engine 4 will be one hell of a monster. In fact, to run the Samaritan demo the firm uses to advertise the engine, you’ll need the power of ten Xbox 360s.

That’s according to Epic boss Tim Sweeney, who revealed that the Samaritan Unreal tech demo unveiled at GDC 2011 required 2.5 terraFLOPS to perform.

I’ll ask this again, are you ready for next gen?
