Thirsty Conversations: Should Sony Drop “PlayStation” For Something Else?

So, website Digital Download has a very interesting article which makes the case for Sony to drop the brand name “PlayStation” and go for something entirely new for its next console. I thought it was an interesting argument, as PlayStation has been a pillar, one that’s immovable from the Sony empire. But should the firm go bold with something totally different by changing the brand name, hence giving it new appeal?

what for?
removing the brand name is removing all the history.
you and i would know what it is, but what about the people who dont?
companies rely on their pastime for people to buy there products.
