Diablo III To Release Early 2012

Diablo developer Blizzard Entertainment has announced the release date of the much anticipated title, confirming it’ll ship early 2012, and at the same time has extended the game’s beta.

“With every game we make, the temptation is always very strong to launch as soon as possible,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder. “However, we didnâ€™t put so many years of work into Diablo III to release a game that was almost ready.

The beta test is going very well, and we look forward to making the most of the extra time weâ€™re taking to deliver an experience that lives up to our vision for the game and the expectations of our players. Next year is going to be an incredibly busy one for Blizzard, and we hope an incredibly fun one for Blizzard gamers.”

The game’s beta, which started on September 20th, has been extended, most likely to include more players to make sure every aspect is well tested, and bugs are eliminated, etc.

yea we know blizzard you like to take your sweet time!
i wish they would give us a solid release date though.
gets really annoying hearing the when its ready crap!

they take too bloody long to release their games!

another thing there a PC only developer, every single game they do is in development for years, they have the biggest budgets out there!
so you would think the graphics in there games would be mind blowing, miles above the rest.
but there not, diablo 3 looks good but not what you would expect considering their budget and PC exclusivity and time in development.
whole point of a game on PC is the extra power the platform has, so lets see it!
