Video Thirst: Ridge Racer PS Vita Gets TGS Teaser

Namco Bandai’s gone bold with a TGS teaser trailer for PS Vita’s Ridge Racer. It’s inside.

It’s supposed to release on December 17th as a launch title in Japan, but no gameplay footage was shown. It did mention that “you’ll be getting a new ‘machine’”, however, so we’re waiting to see how this all turns out. I’m a massive RR fan so I’m hoping for the best.

    i do to.
    i hope this is more like the new RR game and not like the track sim originals.
    sim racers are just not fun on a portable, there only suited for wheels and pedals they would be much better off doing a burnout styled game.
    thats one thing im really craving now.
    a open world arcade racer with heaps of jumps, short cuts and collectables to find.
    burnout paradise has to be my 3rd favourite game released this gen!
    liked it so much i bought it on ps3 twice, 360 once and PC once!
    and finished it on all 3 god knows how many times!

    Ridge Racer V for PS2 was my favorite.

    the originals always been my favorite.
    i remember sitting down when i first got my ps1 with my father and literally playing it for hours!
    then of course mum had to come in and unplug it, and was met by a evil death stare from my father.
    should of seen the look on his face when i showed him GT5, literally like a kid in a candy store!
    so pissed off about that, i had almost all of the A and B spec done, i had every licence done and my ps3 went up the shitter so i lost EVERYTHING!
    gah, the thought of having to redo the licence with the really old ferrari around the rome circuit makes me want to cry.
    took me FOREVER to gold that!
