Mortal Kombat Sells Three Million Copies

Warner Bros. announced that its sold 3 million copies of Mortal Kombat across PS3 and 360 since the brutal fighter went on sale in mid-June.

“NetherRealm Studios delivered a high quality game which has exceeded our sales goals. We’d like to thank our entire team and all of our partners for their innovative campaigns and tremendous support of Mortal Kombat, as the game sales continue to grow,” Warner Interactive boss Martin Tremblay said.

Warner also said the numbers make Mortal Kombat the top-selling fighter this year.

    hopefully this will give them the confidence to do something a little different and give us that fire and ice game.
    come on a sequel to shaolin monks staring scorpion and sub zero would be freaking sweet!
    or at least a sequel to deception, i really enjoyed that especially the konquest mode.
