People who game on Facebook have nothing on Call of Duty players, according to Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg, who’s claimed gamers who play Call of Duty are way more involved.
That’s what he said while speaking at the Annual Pacific Crest Global Technology Leadership Forum, adding Call of Duty players also pay-to-play online more than Facebook gamers.
“Call of Duty has more players who pay-to-play online than any Facebook game, and our players pay more per player on average than any Facebook game,” said Hirshberg.
“They’re also more engaged – the percentage of Call of Duty’s monthly unique players that play the game every day is higher than that of the top three Facebook games.”
