Fallout: New Vegas Pre-Order Numbers Already Outdoing Fallout 3

Seems as if folks are warming up to Fallout: New Vegas more than its predecessor, Fallout: 3. And for Bethesda, that’s not a bad thing at all.

Speaking to MCV, Bethesda’s EU director, Sarah Seaby said the pre-order numbers of Fallout: New Vegas are outstripping that of Fallout 3.

“Fallout: New Vegas pre-orders are far outstripping those of Fallout 3. Based on the feedback from gamers, we anticipate fans will enjoy returning to the Fallout universe, where they will experience a new story in an exciting New Vegas setting.

While players will find Fallout: New Vegas very familiar due to the similar control scheme found in Fallout 3, they’ll also find that the developers over at Obsidian have made a number of refinements after taking a look at fan feedback.”

“We’re looking forward to when the game launches across Europe on October 22nd.”

The game will be available in the US on October 19th, for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

im really looking forward to this, i just hope bethesda actually put some polish into a game for a change!
honestly, fallout 3 is the best but buggiest most frustrating game i have ever played!
so broken in fact, i almost thought i somehow got the alpha version!

lol you thought you got the Alpha version? Now that’s buggy.

you get the ps3 or n360 version?
the ps3 version had frame rate issues, screen tearing, freezing after a hour the game would freeze without fail id turn it on play for a hour id freeze id turn it off and on rinse and repeat.
not to mention the freezing when friends signed in, not to mention getting stuck in the landscape, not to mention the falling through landscape, not to mention the bug where you choose to blow up the town you get stuck in the building.
god, never have i played a game with so many bugs!
i wanted to track bethesda down and slap them silly!
if new vegas is like that all i can say is RUN BITCH RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
