Hulu was just announced for PS3, but what wasn’t noted in the memo is that only the folks who subscribe to PlayStation Plus get to enjoy its benefits. I saw this coming from miles away guys, not surprising at all.
The source code from the Hulu site reads: “The instructions below will help you install Hulu Plus on your PS3. Note: you must be a subscriber of the PlayStation Plus Network.”
The source code from Hulu.com also shows a “PlayStation 3 Activation Procedure”, that asks users to redeem a code over at the PlayStation Store to use Hulu.
Kotaku noted that after paying for a full year’s subscription of PlayStation Plus for $49.99, added with the cost of Hulu, the total shoots up to a mammoth $170 a year.
The service comes to PS3 next month, Xbox 360 will receive it next year.

what so its not enough that i have to pay 50 bucks a year, i also have to pay for that too!?
jesus christ what is the world coming to?
soon will have to pay to walk out the friggin door!
want to turn your console on?
that will be $5.99.
oh, you want me to eject the disk?
that will be $2.99.
god where does it end!
It won’t, if gamers keep drinking it like cool aid and keep saying, “yeah, you know, charging for EVERYTHING is not such a bad idea”
exactly.
they keep tipping us over and shaking the cash out, and we sit there and take it.
its about time we stood up and said no enough is enough!
