Another weekend, another Quencher! Yeah, this one’s a bit more special, as it’s me, Christos, writing it instead of Ernice. The man’s really caught in the middle of a ton of work, but it’s for the good of all of us.
The Comic-Con of 2013 is upon us, and with it, tons of reveals, new information on upcoming games, but most importantly, fresh stuff for the next-gen of console gaming. 2013 is shaping up to be one of the best in gaming’s recent years, and rightfully so. Not only because of the new consoles, but because some games are truly making the push for something new, revolutional – something game-changing. Instead of having a generation where your Average Joe has a prettier floating gun to shoot prettier people, we’re reaching a generation of seamless worlds, unprecedented connectivity between platforms and devices, and new things to do by the truckload.
Regarding my plans for the weekend, though? I’ll be rolling on some Battlefield 3 with Ernice, boot up my Xbox for some Halo 2, continue my playthrough of Final Fantasy X on the Playstation 2, shit my pants on some Code Veronica on the Dreamcast, choo-choo around on my 3DS with Zelda: Spirit Tracks, and to wrap it up, go completely old-school with Super Mario Bros on my NES. Whatcha gonna do, Gamesthirstians? Whatever it is, hopefully it makes you happy!
