Metal Gear Solid Inducted Into The Smithsonian

You don’t get into the Smithsonian just because your name is Snake and you’ve killed countless mindless terrorists bent on annihilating the world. No. You don’t it by becoming so popular and so intertwined into American culture than you no longer can be ignored.

Metal Gear Solid will be featured at the Smithsonian as part of The Art of Video Games exhibition, from March 16th through September 30th.

Meanwhile, GI’s reporting that the series has sold over 31 million copies globally.
