And it begins. “Ashes to Ashes” is Gears of War 3 new trailer title. It’s awesomeness I reckon. The game will come out on April 5th in the US and on the 8th in Europe.
The fours screens below the break try to set an atmosphere of gloom – hence the title: Ashes to Ashes. It’s quite simply Epic’s biggest effort yet. An Xbox 360 exclusive.

This should be good :) But for some reason lately I’ve been wanting these big games to come out on the next consoles. Like uncharted 3, and halo….. we’ve already seem these really good games and it seems like there releasing sequals left and right. I want to see some new IP’s and more time in between sequals… But maybe that’s just me. :)
And I agree with you. I believe if it were up to the devs Mighty, the games would release on next-gen consoles, but Microsoft and Sony won’t allow it…
It’s about the money for them and who has the most exclusives coming out at any given time. Competition’s tight.
The Gears of War 3 trailer was nice and I highly anticipate the game so far…. As for next-gen consoles, we are quite a few years away the fact that Gears of War 3 is not even coming out until next year means the 360 will be around at least another two years…. A new console from Sony would cripple them after all the PS3 is just picking up speed…. With rumors of a 360 slim, then of course Natal and Move the current consoles will be around for awhile and lets not even talking about the current economy who will actually buy these new consoles…
Not this E3 but the following one we will see new consoles from nintendo, microsoft, and sony.And will see a release the following year…. Just because a new console is released doesn’t mean it will cripple the previous ones sales. Sony’s proved this with the PS1, and the PS2. The hardware will be really cheap by then with a huge game library…. Not everyone will pick up a new console right away that’s how it’s always been. There are plenty of people like me who pick consoles up at launch despite any money issues. I hear a lot of people saying that the PS3 is just starting to pick up etc.. that’s fine but 2 years from now a lot of people are going to be wanting the next level of console gaming. All the major companies know this which is why there’s a new console release every 5 years or so.. Just my thoughts :)
And they are good ones. Although I can see where os1019 is coming from.
Sony had a rather rough start with the PS3, but the thing is that’s why I Believe they won’t allow MS to release a console before them ever again. That MS took head start cost Sony huge market share.
More than losing money upon the release of PS4, I believe Sony is more afraid of allowing Microsoft to release the Xbox 720 first. If Microsoft is releasing early, Sony will.
Nintendo is on another level altogether.
