Up to this day as much we know, Sony hasn’t made a dollar in profit on PS3; yes that’s grim. The PlayStation division of the company suffered many losses because of the technology it chose to insert in said system, making the PS3 for a very long time, the most expensive console on the market. Even when the price came down to $299 just last August and after the system had outsold its competition for many executive months, the giant still suffered massive losses.
But could it be that finally Sony’s about to move from this tough spot with its upcoming earnings report? Because if this news from Nikkei (through routers) is to be believed, the company from the land of the rising sun will see the light of the sun shine directly on it. I’m really encouraged.
