Weekend Quencher 03/02/12 – AC:3 Kindles Excitement, And I Host A Wedding Tomorrow

Can you believe it? Feels like only yesterday Joseph wrote his “Speak Up” Weekend Quencher. Yet, another weekend is upon us, causing me to ponder life and its priorities all the more. But it doesn’t matter how busy life gets, there’s one thing I know: gaming will always be somewhere high on my priority list.

This weekend, however, gaming takes a rest as I’ll be uber-busy all Saturday and throughout Sunday. I’ll definitely steal half an hour here and there, but won’t be able to stay on for too long, as I’ll be hosting a wedding tomorrow (my wife’s brother), and Sunday the extended family hangs out.

Some Killzone 3 Saturday night, maybe…but for sure, some Assassin’s Creed because I’m just so excited about….

Assassin’s Creed III.

We’ve been blessed with a plethora of info, screens and artwork of Ubisoft next major Assassin’s Creed game, and although I’ve always been ready for the next title, it’s the location that’s gotten me super-pumped for this. AC3 could be big, if done right. And it’s a game I think could be used to teach our kids in classrooms around the States the rich American history. Think about it, a videogame being used to educate in schools…

Anyway, that’s my weekend. Let’s talk about yours, what’s going on? Any game in particular you’re playing? And are you excited about Assassin’s Creed III? Have a great one.

I just finished off a video preview for an exciting new FPS that just got released. Expect that to be posted soon. I am now stealing in a few games of Halo before work.

Good luck with the wedding Ernice.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

you gotta try it out its amazing!
just like being at the cinemas except the way its set up there is ZERO ghosting, crosstalk and all the things i hate about 3D, the lack of pop out and the dark image are gone.
its basically taken 3D movies and made them that much better, then brought those effects to games!
this is exactly whats gone wrong with $ony this gen!
everything they have released has been half a$$ed, it feels like they have held back because of cost issues.
this does not though, they have gone full balls and im freaking speechless!
THIS is the $ony i know and loved!
funny how everything they make is either in tiwan or china.
this made in japan, the way it use to be, and its freaking amazing!

The Wedding was good. I was so tired when the full thing was done, I simply crashed. It was good, though.
