Weekend Quencher 8/14/10 – More QuakeCon Coverage And Game Impressions

by Ernice Gilbert on August 14th, 2010, under Other Stuff

Our very own David Allison is at QuakeCon in Texas and he’s doing a mighty fine job bringing you the very latest updates. Check out his Rage demo impressions here. Today, the event is in full swing, so swing your way past the break to be informed on what we have in store for you.

Oh, and by the way, it’s the weekend!

Our man in Texas had time with Fallout: New Vegas, Hunted and today, he’ll be demoing Brink. Look out for updates concerning those titles and his impressions, later.

We’ll have some interviews up, too. So keep an eye out.

As for the me, I’ll be getting my hands dirty with Red Dead Redemption, it’s such an awesome title. It’s like the guys at Rockstar hands are made of gold. Really excellent developers.

I was hoping to play some basketball today, but it’s looking unlikely as, most likely, I’ll be spending some time with my Wife, cleaning, doing laundry etc.

Of course we’ll keep you up to speed with anything that’s breaking.

What’s yours like, the weekend?

RAGE on the Iphone still was the biggest shock for me.
the most impressive too, i mean the PC ps3 and 360 versions look great, but a Iphone
    game running at 60 FPS?

little disappointed that the Iphone versions releasing this year though.
if they can release a small Iphone version this year, than why not a ps3, 360 and PC version?
hopefully they release a long demo on the PSN or something!
a long demo, none of this 5 minutes BS!
    at least a hour long

It’s most likely because the iPhone version is easier to develop…
