So I’m sitting here with my wife, at a Chinese restaurant and being clueless about what to write for Weekend Quencher, I asked her for help. Naturally she came up with some “girly” ideas that I vehemently opposed, like asking you guys and gals what’s your favorite book of all time… What?
Anyway she finally hit the jackpot when she said something in the lines of playing old games, I think it was ‘what’s your favorite game of all time’, and I must admit it caught my attention.
It’s the weekend Games Thirst, what are you up to?
Wow, this weekend is a very momentous one for me. It’s the Easter season and we’ll be camping at our Church from next Thursday through the following Tuesday. Now you might say ‘it’s still early’ and you might be right, but I’m one of the organizers and this weekend (starting Saturday evening), will be hectic. We’re building a stage so our youth department could perform for our talent night and it must be completed before next Thursday. Shouldn’t be that difficult but still, we must get it done.
Now to my favorite game of all time. That’s a difficult choice because there are so many games ranging from NES all the way to the seventh generation of consoles that could qualify for ‘favorite game of all time’.
Super Mario Bros. (NES), Killer Instinct and Donkey Kong Country – from the first to the third (SNES), Rocket Knight Adventures (Sega Genesis). Metal Gear Solid (PSone), Final Fantasy VII (PSone), Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater (PS2). The list is long, very long and it would take days to complete an entire list of my favorite games of all time, seriously.
However I’ll go with the Metal Gear Solid franchise, I’m sorry but it’s to me, one of the most enthralling gaming experiences ever created. So there you have it.
Tell me, what are you up to this weekend, and what’s you favorite game of all time, don’t lie ; )
