January has been unusually cluttered with big name video game releases and although most have perform decently, there’s one game that’s kicking all else’s butt. It’s mass damage.
Nope it’s not Bayonetta, and neither is it Darksiders – Mass Effect 2 is the best selling game in January… by far.
According to a report by DFC intelligence, (via Industry Gamers), Bioware’s JRPG moved, 1, 100,000 units in January. Army of Two: 40th Day gave all it had but still managed to move only 175,000.

Bayonetta: 170,000
Blood Bowl: 9,000
Dark Void: 22,000
Darksiders: 150,000
Divinity 2: Eco Draconis: 25,000
Vancouver 2010: 8,000
Once again, congrats to Bioware, stellar piece of work that Mass Effect 2.
